The 2009 racing season opened on May 6. There will be ten evenings of racing over twelve weeks.

This year we are increasing the options for competitors:

• Main Senior Race the main race of the evening will be a senior event run as a Regional C+ Scratch race under BC rules of one hour duration for juniors, women, vets and seniors E/1/2/3/4 starting at 7.30.

• Beginners (plus non-members and 4th cat racers) we will also run a Go-Race under BC rules of 30 minutes duration starting at 7.45. This is a great way to start road racing. Go-Race Minimum age is 16 years.

• Youths we will continue the Go-ride event (for ages 11-16) starting at 6.45pm on the small circuit. This year, however, we will be including 40 minutes coaching followed by a 20 min race.

Riders, spectators (associated with a rider) and officials, must be pre-registered to comply with Lotus Cars' security requirements. Registration fee for the series is £7.50; spectators, supporters, officials, and under 18s, free.

Entry fees, on the line, for each race are:

• Main Senior Race £7.50. Day licences, free to British Cycling Gold and Silver members, required.
• Go-Race £5.00
• Youths Go-Ride event £2.00 per session.
